Pulse ERP Dashboard Frontend
This project is the frontend for Pulse ERP, a modern and interactive Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) dashboard designed for streamlined business management. It provides a comprehensive, unified interface to control multiple modules including sales, finance, HR, inventory, and project management. Built with a focus on usability and data visualization, the system is designed to empower organizations to make efficient, data-driven decisions.[Ongoing Project]

Problem Statement

The primary challenge was to design and develop a scalable and comprehensive ERP frontend that could effectively integrate and visualize data from multiple, disparate business functions (sales, finance, HR, etc.) into a cohesive, intuitive dashboard interface. The solution needed to support a modular structure, real-time data representation, and a clean, responsive UI for various user roles.

Goals & Objectives

The main goal was to create a modern, high-performance, and user-friendly dashboard frontend. Key objectives included implementing interactive data visualizations using Apex Charts, ensuring a fully responsive design, establishing a clean UI/UX, and laying the groundwork for a role-based access control system to manage user-specific views across different business modules.

My Role

My role was to design and implement the complete frontend application for the ERP dashboard. This involved developing the user interface, integrating data visualization libraries, establishing a modular component structure, and ensuring cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness.

Challenge and Solutions

The application faced the challenge of visually representing complex data from multiple business units in a clean, easily digestible format. The solution involved using Next.js and TypeScript for a robust, scalable architecture, leveraging Tailwind CSS for rapid and consistent styling, and integrating Apex Charts for dynamic and interactive data visualizations across all key performance indicators (KPIs).

Users & Characteristics

AdministratorThe Administrator role is conceptualized to have complete control over system configuration, user management, and high-level business insights across all integrated modules (Sales, Finance, HR, Inventory, etc.).
Finance ManagerThis role will focus on the finance section, with access to dynamic charts for expense distribution, profit tracking, and financial reporting modules to oversee the organization's economic health.
Sales PersonnelUsers in this role will primarily interact with the sales and customer management dashboards, focusing on tracking sales performance, lead management, and accessing sales-related KPIs.

Process of the Project

  1. 01

    Requirement Analysis and Planning

Defined the scope of the ERP frontend, focusing on the core modules (Sales, Finance, HR) and key data visualization needs. Established a design system and component library approach for modular development.
  2. 02

    Design & Prototyping

Designed the UI/UX using NextJS and Tailwind CSS, focusing on a clean, professional aesthetic. Created wireframes and high-fidelity mockups for the main dashboard overview, individual module pages, and interactive charts.
  3. 03

    Implementation (Frontend Development)

Developed the frontend using Next.js and TypeScript. Implemented the dynamic dashboard and integrated Apex Charts for data visualization. Focused on creating reusable components and ensuring full responsiveness across all device sizes.
